The Inn at Shaker Village is set in the beautiful bluegrass country of Central Kentucky, just 30 minutes south of Lexington.

Shaker Room I am a Ghost! Each distinctive room at The Inn at Shaker Village provides a welcoming retreat from the everyday. Accommodations are offered in fifteen beautifully restored nineteenth century buildings spread throughout The Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. The Inn rekindles a gentler way of life, with many rooms featuring relaxing rocking chairs and quiet sitting areas. All of the rooms feature Shaker reproduction furniture, wood floors, and all the modern amenities. Put your furry feet up and enjoy the calm peaceful atmosphere of the Shire-like setting. Enjoy a good night's sleep in a soft mattress and a lovely feather pillow.

Reservations:

The guests are required to make their reservations through Ann Voris of The Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill directly at 1-800-734-5611 extension 1548 or at 1-859-734-1548 and mention that it is for A Long-Expected Party. You will not be able to reserve through the Inn at Shaker Village web site as all of the accommodations have been reserved for us. They will be assigned on a first come-first served basis.

For groups of people wishing to stay together there several houses on the site that are very inexpensive per person if the cost is shared among several people and they also afford a great deal of privacy. For those of you wishing a more social kind of environment, the more common main buildings would be more appropriate. The West Family Dwelling will be set aside for those who wish to party into the night so they don't disturb the hobbits who like to get up at the crack of dawn to tend to their fields. A Game room is located in the West Family Dwelling. A Library as well as another Game room is located in the East Family Dwelling for your enjoyment.

West Family Dwelling - 12 Rooms:

This building will be the “Party Floor”.

Do not expect a good night's sleep if you bunk here but do expect a good deal of fellowship and fun!

A Game Room is located in this building accessible to all guests.

The Green Dragon is located in the basement of this building.

You might need a car or a walking stick if you stay at this dwelling. It is across US 68 from the main village and just up the road a short way.

You might need a car or a walking stick if you stay at this dwelling. It is to the north and behind the main village and is very private.


Policies and Cancellations:

Cancellation of overnight guest room reservations occurring 30 days or more prior to the event will not be charged a cancellation fee. Any room cancellations occurring between 14 and 29 days prior to the event will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the first night accommodations. Any room cancellations occurring less than 14 days before scheduled arrival will be charged 100% of the first night accommodations.
